About Us
Chestnut Rise Nursing Home is a newly refurbished private nursing home in Rossington, Doncaster, operated by Chestnut Rise Nursing Home. We provide compassionate dementia care, respite care private and day care services in a warm, dignified environment.
Our Story
Chestnut Rise Nursing Home was founded by Chestnut Rise Nursing Home with a clear mission: to create a private nursing home in Rossington that families across Doncaster and South Yorkshire could trust completely. Situated on the peaceful Sheepbridge Lane, our home has undergone an extensive refurbishment to provide state-of-the-art facilities whilst retaining the warmth and character that make a care home feel like a true home.
Every detail of the refurbishment has been carefully considered — from the spacious en-suite bedrooms and comfortable communal lounges to the purpose-designed sensory garden for residents living with dementia. Our aim is to deliver the very best standard of private nursing care, residential care, and specialist support in the Doncaster area.
On 6th February 2026, Chestnut Rise Nursing Home was officially opened by Lee Pitcher MP as Chief Guest, with Mayor Ros Jones as Special Guest, alongside local ward councillors and community leaders. This milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter for care provision in Rossington.
